The transformative outlooks are the ultimate outcome of RRI-LEADERS’s co-creation process for Sofia (Bulgaria), Western Macedonia (Greece), Thalwil (Switzerland), and Sabadell (Catalonia, Spain). They represent a future-oriented strategy and action plan centered on the specific policy areas, chosen by each territory, and specifically outline the strategies and measures that define the intended transformation in the territory’s policy agenda in terms of both processes and outcomes.
In a first stage, the transformative outlooks built upon the results obtained from the RRI audits in the four territories and the Delphi consultations. In a second stage, they were enriched with the contributions from 80 citizens and community groups without an institutionalised representation, such as youth, elderly, consumer groups, interest groups, and other community groups, who were invited to participate in four citizen review panels.
Finally, the transformative outlooks will be introduced to the decision-makers of each territory in December 2023 to obtain their endorsement, that is, a form of recognition for their integration through policy on the territorial level or by individual stakeholders.
